My name is Scott Bodnar and I am currently a Lead Animator with Essence Cartoon. The art I create is an exploration of ideas, software, and mediums.
I am a recent graduate from SUNY Oswego with two Bachelors degrees; Graphic Design and Film Studies. I have always taken interest in art, animation, movies, and crafting. Growing up in rural, upstate New York, where the internet was slower than paint drying, I found ways to entertain myself. This created my love for the outdoors, animals, and art - as art supplies were inexpensive and long lasting.
As my life moves forward I set new goals and force myself to learn new skills and understand new perspectives.
As of 2020, my top 5 movies are: A Few Good Men, District 9, Shawshank Redemption, The Martian, and A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
